A Verge of Plenty

I took this photo to demonstrate the amazing variety of wildflowers growing on the verges just off a major roadway. In addition to what I've identified, there were other wildflowers present. I simply couldn't get them in the photo (or identify them).
I was happy to see that the staff responsible for trimming the verges left these wildflowers to grow without intervention, only mowing the verges after the wildflowers had bloomed and spread their seeds, ensuring they will be back next year.
